Who the course is for
- People who can already build a basic report.
- Before the course we recommend a short knowledge test. It's optional, and we use it to adjust the program so nobody sits through material they already know.

What the course covers
- Choosing visuals
- Which visual best answers a given question. How to make good use of even the “forbidden” visuals, such as the donut chart.
- Page structure
- How to build a hierarchy of questions and what the user should find on the report, so the page tells the story of the data (data storytelling).
- Colors
- Color as a carrier of information, conditional formatting done right, and accessibility.
- Detailed visual settings
- What options each visual has and how best to use them to tell the story at hand.

The price is for the whole group, however many people attend. Demos and exercises run on your data if we agree on it before the training, otherwise on sample data. The price is the same either way.
After the course
What happens after the course
- The same test again. Anyone who took it before the course sees their progress in numbers.
- A call 30 days later. What made it into daily work and where people got stuck.
- A look at your model. On the call we can look at the model people work on after the course.
When the model misbehaves
Performance Audit
We measure slow reports and long refreshes and fix the most expensive spots. We back up the before and after with numbers.
FAQ
What you ask us most
- Can you train us on our own data?
- Yes, if we agree on the data before the training. The price is the same with or without your data. From experience we go for your data, because people know it and work with it more easily.
- Can the course run online?
- Yes, in person or online. The program is the same, the exercises are just split into shorter blocks.
- How many people can attend?
- We recommend 12 at most, so there's time to go through the exercises with everyone. The price is per group and doesn't depend on headcount.
- Do we get a certificate?
- We don't issue certificates. Anyone who takes the knowledge test before and after the course sees their progress in numbers. For the PL-300 certification, take our course PL-300 Exam Prep.
